Originally from New Jersey, Karen has been part of the Myrtle Beach community since 2004. She has been married for 20 years and is the proud mother of two amazing and inspiring children.

Karen has been in the aesthetics industry since 2004, bringing years of experience and perspective to her work. Her favorite service is the HydraFacial, which she loves for its ability to refresh and restore the skin while leaving clients glowing and confident.

Karen’s journey into aesthetics began in a deeply personal way. She started her career as a photographer before transitioning into becoming an electrologist and aesthetician after experiencing facial hair concerns herself. That experience gave her a firsthand understanding of how appearance can impact confidence. She carries that empathy into every appointment, reminding clients that while aesthetics can enhance our features, the heart is truly our prettiest attribute.

She values the sisterhood at La Bella and appreciates being surrounded by supportive women who uplift and encourage one another.

Outside of work, Karen enjoys kayaking, traveling the world, and caring for her many chickens — a passion that adds a little extra personality to her busy life.

Born and raised in Nashville and now based in South Carolina, Summer combines more than two decades of experience in business development, advising, and patient care. Her professional journey spans the financial services industry and the medical well and aesthetics field, where she has become known for her commitment to excellence, innovation, and cultivating strong team culture.

At the heart of everything Summer does is her belief that confidence is more than skin deep. She leads with the philosophy that “The Heart is Your Prettiest Feature,” a message that has become the foundation of her businesses and the culture she creates for both clients and team members.
