What is the difference between dermal fillers and muscle relaxing injections?


In the last few years, the cosmetic industry introduced dermal fillers that are injected into the space between the muscle layer and dermal layer to reduce the appearance of folding in the skin. When our skin starts to shrink and volume loss dulls our best features, we find extra space left over from this volume loss that we can use to our benefit in anti-aging treatments. Dermal fillers work within this space using hyaluronic acids familiar to our body.


Dermal fillers create volume and replace volume that has been lost due to aging that leaves the skin with a deflated look.
